Small Acts are taking over Falmouth Art Gallery in October 2026!

We’ve invited 5 amazing artists who embody liveness and performance in their practice, to join us for the ride! Together we have been exploring Falmouth Art Gallery’s expansive collection to identify an artwork each to respond to through the making of a new live performance.

Part exhibition, part performance salon, a series of 7 small acts will unfold in the gallery alongside the works that inspired them. Join us at the edges of spoken word, drag, sound art, puppetry, dance, live art and performance.

Commissioned by Falmouth Art Gallery and in partnership with Creative Kernow Associates.

About Small Acts

Katie Etheridge and Simon Persighetti are artists and performance makers who create live participatory projects that explore the interrelationships between people and places. Since 2011 they have developed a unique collaborative practice operating at the intersection between architecture, community, place and performance. Engaging people all stages of the creative process, they develop multi-disciplinary methodologies designed to explore, expose and contain multiple perspectives and sometimes conflicting narratives of place.
