We’ve been busy working on a new project for Flamm Contemporary Art Festival. It’s a first time collaboration with artist Kitty Hillier and Bodmin based youth and community organisation KBSK.
Re:Rooted fuses sculpture and performance, people and place to explore navigation, roots and connectedness through the eyes of young people. You can find more info on the Re:Rooted project page here
During Flamm Festival, 28 Feb – 1 Mar 2026, Re:Rooted takes the form of a walking artwork, a participatory moving sculpture that playfully reroutes Flamm audiences as it journeys through the town, trying to get round corners, across roads and through buildings.
Developed through a design process informed by creative walking and drawing practices, the root-like form of the sculpture references an imagined network of tree roots connecting everything under the surface of the streets.
Across the festival weekend you are invited to be help carry the sculpture, find a dance performance in the hidden heart of Bodmin, and explore the town via a specially created map.
